BARE BONES.

‘My wings were not born in the sky;
the feathers found me
in the darkest depths of sea,
beneath sand and soot
buried like a burden.’
Madeline Giles

It’s in our darkness that we find our light.

As the wheel has turned to the north, as we have arrived on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year - we have fully descended into our darkness.

What has it revealed to you?

This descent into the darkness has been a stripping back to the bare bones for me. 2019 has been a year of crumbling, of ‘death’, of letting go….to arrive at a perfectly still point in the mountains. A place of non-resistance, of surrender to this mysterious life force that is always weaving it’s way through every crevice of our being.

From this point of stillness, of surrender - everything is possible and nothing is expected.
A space where empty and full can co-exist.
The pursuit of nothing, where everything is received.

A space where a new foundation is formed with the coming of 2020, a new set of wings as the light returns.

The death, the re-birth.
The darkness, the light.
Ancients & Angels.

Meet me there?
