VULNERABILITY.

What does vulnerability mean to you?

Does your body recoil, a feeling in the pit of your stomach, a reaction of I can’t be vulnerable. It’s not safe, I can get hurt. If I put my self out there, show my feelings - someone can reject them, dismiss them, wrong them?

‘Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage.’
Brene Brown

When we don’t show up and express what is present, when we numb our painful feelings out of fear of how they will be perceived, of being seen, of being vulnerable we numb ourselves from the positive feelings as well. We numb ourselves of joy, of connection.

We dim our light, we recoil, fade into the background.

A life of purpose demands us to be vulnerable, to be seen, to show up fully in who we are. To stand in what is alive within us. Vulnerability takes courage but what is on the other side is love, freedom, empowerment.

You living the highest version of you.

Where is the Universe guiding you to step into vulnerability? To be seen, to be heard?
