A SACRED DEER.

I followed the breath, followed her sacred path as a descent into the other worlds, into the portal of the soul.

Breath by breath activating what is within, awakening my inner creature, calling her forward from her deep slumber.

I arrive at the centre of a forest, rooted & anchored with evergreens & elms all around. Rich, lush moss intertwining & interweaving. Soil embedded in my toes as my body moves in primal dance.

The Emerald Water Priestess emerges with a crown of antlers. The Horned Goddess. The Horned God. The Green Lady. The Green Man.

My inner creature.

My inner wild calls forth with the fiercest eyes, digging its hooves into the earth preparing for battle. For the chase, the hunt, to run wild & free. Bowing in honour & reverence as the earth holds the solid foundation for my crowned one to break free from the confinements of the cage she has been held in.

The glass house shattered as her hooves bury into the earth and dash at a rapid speed.

Climbing trees, roaming with ferocity, exhausting & releasing. Mountains climbed, flashes of evergreen as my inner stag, my inner creature liberates my body of what is wanting to be freed. Pent up energy, rage, anger, the primal animal that is within nourished & fed until she arrives back at the centre of it all.

The Emerald Water Priestess, a crown of antlers with butterflies dancing around her.

A soft baby deer nuzzled & burrowed in a sea of moss.
