YOU THINK YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT ON YOUR OWN.
I haven’t done any of this on my own.
I am always working with coaches, mentors & healers.
I am always fully supported & investing in myself….
And…..I have not always been this way.
I raised my daughter on my own. I started my degree in Interior Design when Brooklyn was 4, I would do my homework all night after she went to bed & barely keep my eyes open all day while I was in University. Upon graduating I got my 9-5 and sunk into the system. Juggling the job, the responsibilities, being a single mom, homework, trying to keep all the balls in the air. Anyone relate to this?
It was exhausting.
I was trying to keep it all together & look like I knew what I was doing.
I was waiting for the trophy that said your a good mom, your strong, way to nail this mother hood shit.
You’re doing it all on your own - you’re amazing.
{I wasn’t amazing, I was at my absolute end}
And then I crumbled like I never had before, alcohol consumption was at it’s peak, abusive relationships, it was messy - incredibly messy. I was a toxic puddle that had no clue who she was or what she wanted.
I was at the bottom of the swamp & miserable.
I hired a coach…..and I am eternally grateful that I started to allow myself to be supported every single day. That I invested in myself when I had absolutely no money and that I finally admitted that I had no clue what I was doing.
When I finally gave up and stopped thinking I should be able to do it all on my own. That I should have it all figured out.
And I know that you think you should be able to do it on your own. That you should have it all figured out.
There is a deep conditioning in our society that women should be able to do it all, that they shouldn’t need help, that they shouldn’t ask for support. That they should have it all figured out - it’s bullshit that keeps us in a system of self doubt, depletion & exhaustion. It’s a bullshit system that keeps women stuck & alone…because here’s the thing.
Everyone needs support…..and every fulfilled, successful women has support.
She is not doing it on her own.
Coaches have coaches.
Healers have healers.
Coaches have healers.
Healers have coaches.
Everyone is on their journey - nobody is at the end of their journey. Nobody has gotten to the end with their hell yes I made it, I’ve figured it all out - where’s my trophy…..because it doesn’t exist. As long as you are in a human body you are on the journey, navigating the waters, the ebbs & flows. We are all navigating these waters, we are all on our journey, living our spiritual curriculum & we all need support navigating this human experience.
Having coaches, healers, mentors, however it shows up for you allows you to navigate the waters more effectively, allows you to step into your truth, into the Sovereign Self, into what you came here to do. Into the Queen who commands attention simply by being who she is.
Asking for help & allowing yourself to be supported is not a weakness, it’s you peeling off the illusion that we are all living under that we should be able to do it alone…we should not be doing it alone. We cannot do it alone.
Every successful woman that is standing in her truth has an army supporting her - guaranteed…..and if they don’t they are near burnout. That is the old way, the way of the patriarchy…..you are breaking that conditioning, you are severing those ties & stepping into the Sovereign Self.
It’s not easy but it’s what your bloodline has been waiting for.
