THE PHASES OF THE MOON.

I’ve always teetered a little more towards the dark….

The waning moon & it’s dark chill….
Autumns decaying descent as the leaves fall….
Winters sweet horror frost kiss…

They stir something in my belly, a re-membering, a coming home.

I grew up in a small town just a sliver south of the North West Territories in the boreal forest of Alberta. A sky full of stars & the aurora borealis guiding the way. Winters days of endless dark and summer filled nights of eternal light. The scales always teetering towards the dark in this town where the breath of the ice queen would chill your bones the majority of the year.

The dark.

Winters depth. Avalons icy mist. The Balsamic Moon.
These are the seasons that call me home, that stir the womb.

What seasons call you home, stir a flutter in your belly?
The lunar phases that ignite a re-membering within you?

The crescent moon full of potential & action, the sliver of light causing a stir as the seeds poke out of the earth - the maiden peeking out from under the covers. Dreams coming into fruition.

The 1st quarter & it's time of action, the yang energy leading the way creating motion as we purge & release with the Gibbous Moon.

The full moons illumination, the Mothers fullest blossoms as everything is witnessed & seen. A celebration & release with what is ready to let die as La Luna begins her descent into the darkness. Into the murky waters, the Wild Woman within, the emotions & decay.

The 3rd quarter an internal choice as the yin, the stillness takes over. The retreat deeper & deeper into the inner realms. Into the dark, cleansing and clearing - making space with the Balsamic sliver of light before me meet our death with the dark moon. With winters chill. The crone, the wise woman within, creating the foundation & fertile soil for the next sliver to emerge with the new moon.

The cycles within the cycles of life.
The mysteries within the feminine.

Which ones pull you into their depths, creates a flutter in your womb space?
