STRENGTH IN SURRENDER.
There is strength in the surrender.
In the allowing.
In the unknown.
There is strength in your softness.
It takes courage to open the cavity of your heart,
to speak your truth,
to show up in your vulnerability,
to let love in.
It takes strength to show up fully for this human experience….
And I used to cringe at the word strong, I used to cringe when people would say they admired my strength.
I didn’t want to be strong anymore. Strong didn’t feel good, it was hard, it felt like a cement ball in my heart & womb.
I had a distorted view of what it meant to be strong. To me it meant soldering on, putting on a brave face, having guards & pushing through.
That’s not strength, that’s an illusion.
Strength is showing up exactly as you are, in your truth & in your authenticity.
Vulnerable & real.
Speaking from the heart.
You, right here, right now…..in all of your messiness, in all of your humanity & all of your divinity.
